Human Rights Campain(HRC):
The Human Rights Campaign is America’s largest civil rights organization working to achieve lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality. By inspiring and engaging all Americans, HRC strives to end discrimination against LGBT citizens and realize a nation that achieves fundamental fairness and equality for all.

The Trevor Project:
The Trevor Project is the leading national organization focused on crisis and suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth. The Trevor Project operates the only accredited, nationwide, around-the-clock crisis and suicide prevention helpline for LGBTQ youth. If you or a friend are feeling lost or alone, call The Trevor Helpline. There is hope, there is help.

Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation(GLAAD):
The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation is dedicated to promoting and ensuring fair, accurate and inclusive representation of people and events in the media as a means of eliminating homophobia and discrimination based on gender identity and sexual orientation.

Eychaner Foundation:
The Eychaner Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to promoting tolerance and non-discrimination. The foundation invests in distinguished students through Iowa's Matthew Shepard Scholarship Program and the Howard and Mildred Eychaner Scholarship in De Kalb, Illinois. To date, over one million has been committed in scholarship assistance. The Eychaner Foundation has been instrumental in the creation of the Iowa Pride Network and the GLBT Youth In Iowa Schools Task Force.

Change:
Today as citizens of the world, we face a daunting array of social and environmental problems ranging from health care and education to global warming and economic inequality. For each of these issues, whether local or global in scope, there are millions of people who care passionately about working for change but lack the information and opportunities necessary to translate their interest into effective action.

Iowa Pride Network:
The Iowa Pride Network is a state-wide non-profit organization that works directly with students, helping empower them to start and enhance GSA’s in their high schools and colleges, while building a statewide network that offers support, mentoring, educational, advocacy and networking opportunities. In addition, the Iowa Pride Network fights bigotry and intolerance against LGBTQA students in Iowa; educates policy makers and educators on issues facing LGBTQA students; and advocates for the interests of these students on the state and local levels.

One Iowa:
One Iowa is the state’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) advocacy organization, committed to full equality for LGBT individuals, including the freedom to marry. Formed in 2005, the organization has been an effective advocate for the community.
